Introduction
The purpose of this course is to introduce the principles of fall prevention and protection, as well as types of fall protection systems available and the most appropriate use of each of them. The program also covers requirements for comply with the current CSA/ANSI standards and the Newfoundland & Labrador’s Acts and Regulations in fall protection. Students will participate of full inspections of 12 pieces of equipment, completion of calculations and case studies. Proper use of all equipment will be demonstrated and practiced during practical exercise.
