- Bear Ecology (Differences between Grizzly and Black Bear)
- Bear Behavior
- Human/Wildlife Conflicts (Bear Encounters, Wildlife Encounters (Defensive and Predatory))
- Response to Bear Encounters, Grey Wolf, Cougar, Coyotes, and Moose
- Non-Lethal Deterrents, Noise Deterrents, Physical Deterrents
- Proper Storage of Deterrents
- Practical training includes: Deterrent Training (Inert Bear Spray, Bear Bangers and Single Shell Launchers)
